Step 1: choose what you want to ride

Start with the question of what you would like to do. The price list below shows every option in AED per rider, with separate rates for adults and for kids up to 12. These are the offers to choose from:

• The 30-minute introduction course for a first taste, from AED 500 (kids up to 12: AED 400)
• Group lessons of one, two or three hours, from two riders
• Private lessons, from one hour up to a 15-hour package
• Coaching only, for riders who bring bike and gear themselves
• A rental bike with fuel, water and the track fee included
• A desert ride once your sand training is done
• The racing week: three lessons plus a desert ride

Step 2: name the date that suits you

You choose the day. In the season the team is out on every day of the week with two to three courses each day, and you are welcome to ask at short notice as well. If your date is already full, you receive a proposal for another one. A day out for a group or a company works the same way: ask for motocross events in Dubai on the date you want, and the team plans it with you.

What happens on the day

Group and private lessons are all-inclusive: bike, protective gear, coach, fuel, drinking water and the track fee are already in the price, so on the day you simply collect your kit and your bike and head for the track with your coach, in your group or one to one. Riders who come on their own bike take the coaching-only option and cover the track fee of AED 100 per rider and day themselves, while each desert rider adds AED 50 a day for the convenience fee. Renting without coaching is open to intermediate riders or riders under supervision: a bike costs AED 450 per hour or AED 4,000 as a 10-hour package, including track fee, fuel and water, and gear costs AED 49 per piece or pair or AED 200 for a complete set.

First-timers start with the basics: body position, braking, accelerating and throttle control. Plenty of them clear their first small jumps before the day is over. A desert ride follows only when your sand skills are ready, with experienced guides who know the dunes.
